IMED Search Instructions:

You may search for medical schools using the following fields:

1. Region of Medical School
   You may search for all medical schools in a geographic region (Europe, Central American and the Caribbean, etc.) by selecting that region from the pick list and clicking the "Search Now" button.
   
   
2. Country of Medical School
   You may search for all medical schools in a particular country by selecting the country name from the pick list and clicking the "Search Now" button.
   
   
3. City
   You may search for medical schools located in a particular city by typing the name of the city in the search field and clicking the "Search Now" button. Do not include any postal codes, states or provinces in the search field.
   
   
4. Medical School Name
   You may search for a medical school by its current name or by a former name by typing the name in the search field and clicking the "Search Now" button. It is suggested that you search using only part of the medical school name, since searching on the full name will not return any results if it does not match exactly the name as it is listed in IMED. Also, do not search using common words such as "college", "university", "school" or "medicine."
   
   

You may also search using one or more fields together. IMED search results are displayed in alphabetical order by the name of the medical school. If your results show possible matches in more than one country, the results will be in alphabetical order by the name of the school, not by the name of the country.
